Description:  Three trains would be rerouted over the New York Susquehanna & Western Railway this weekend as a result of a signal$suspension on the CSX Mohawk Subdivision in New York State. This is the Q004-25 making a daylight run over the Starrucca Viaduct and was the first train of the three to be detoured at 19:20hrs.

Description:  Out with the old, in with the new. CP 6236 leads the K635 west as it rolls under the new cantilever signal in Fonda, NY. The old NYC era bridge feel sometime on March 10, 2013 and was replaced by this as part of an ongoing signal replacement project on CSX. The welded rail train was a bonus.

Description:  Another load of Bakken Crude Oil waits for a crew at the Pan Am rail yard in Rotterdam Jucntion. This is Pan Am's furthest point west and is also where they interchange with CSX Transportation. The train arrived on the previous day as the CSX K002-23. It is bound for Saint John, New Brunswick.

Description:  BNSF Railway's engine 4708 creates a snowstorm of it's own as it rolls west through Amsterdam, NY. Today was the first siginificant snow fall in upstate New York of the season. I believe this train was the K011-27 but am not 100% sure as I did not have my scanner with me.
